    Hi folks, today's SOTD as follows;

    1930's Cooper Monobilt open comb.
    Personna Blue Lab blade.
    Kent BLK2 badger hair brush.
    Proraso Red canned goo.
    Nivea post shave balm.
    Captains Choice sandalwood as splash.

This is the first time I ever shaved with the Cooper Monobilt DE. What a shave it was too. I had two days growth and this razor and blade combination worked like magic. I'll be using this razor again. It was definately a two pass BBS.

    TESC Pre-Shave Oil
    TABAC
    Jayaruh #59 synthetic
    German Travel Razor
    Gillette Wilkinson Sword
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Vegetal

The TABAC Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #59 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the German Travel razor with a Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade gave me a fantastically close, comfortable shave. I was tempted to do a one pass shave it was so close and comfortable, but I relathered and did a final pass. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Pinaud Vegetal. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I'm getting no chill from my MITA balm? And the scent isn't much either? What do you think?

    SHAVE OF THE DAY
    20160421_184713.jpg

    Prep: none
    Razor: Gillette ball end tech
Blade: Rapira super stainless (4th shave)
    Brush: omega s synthetic
    Soap: Vintage Yardley shaving stick
    Aftershave: Master Spice

    Balm: Shavewizards pre/post butter

2 pass shave. The Yardley stick made a very nice lather, and the performance has been better than the bowl IMO. The Rapira Blade has gotten better with age. Mixed up a bunch of good stuff to make a butter type of balm. Turned out pretty good for a first batch. Soothes the skin wonderfully, but it is a bit greasy from the shea butter and coconut oil. Hope everyone had a great shave!
