    Saturday's planned action:

    Nivea Facial Wash
    Omega Black Handle
    Super Speed/Sharp day 6
    Van der Hagen Deluxe SS
    Lubriderm Unscented Moisturizer :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055:
    Booster Mosswood AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055:

Finally, finally, finally I was able to tell the menthol monkey on my back to get lost for a day so I could try something new which I never had before. The VDH soap seems to smell exactly how it was described to me - clean, soapy, and simple. From what I understand, it's very easy to get good lather from it so I'm looking forward to a great new experience. These Omega brushes have always been good to me, especially with creams. It's been a while since I slapped on the Booster Mosswood - it's a top favourite aftershave of mine. ;) :D

    ZCOLDWATER1.jpg

    Dove Men Face Wash
Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap
    Jayaruh WC4 HMB
    Schick M2 Adjustable
    Personna Stainless
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Aqua Velva

The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh WC4 High Mountain Badger Brush. Two passes with my Schick M2 Adjustable razor and a Personna Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

First shave of phase two of Adjustable Month. Ten days with the Schick M.

See the TSD Iced Subzero AS in the corner? It's there because on days like today, a little skincare was a good thing. It dries down to nothing after the menthol goes away, and I add it under the Veg to keep my face feeling great. Friday, it saved my shave experience. It's in Osage Rub territory of coldness, and I really enjoy it!

    Have a Great Saturday!

Omelmad My printer email address is..........

    Shave of the day

Pre- Hot shower, Bulldog Original face wash and Naobay moisturizing peeling(amazing product), sandalwood bar soap

Soap/cream- Taylor of old bond street Grapefruit shaving cream

    Brush- Semogue 1470 boar

    Razor- Merkur 37c

    Blade- Rapira super stainless

Post- Cold water rinse, My own unscented aftershave lotion and Maca root Razor relief aftershave balm (sample)

It was just an ok shave. The Rapira super stainless was a dud, or half dud. I could only shave with one side, that felt really weird. Tossed it.

My own aftershave is really nice hahaha! why have I not done this before?

I got a sample of the Maca root balm when I was out in the city. It felt nice and now a while after my face feels good. If I was not on my no buy right now I would probably go and buy it. Good stuff.

I have gotten mediocre lather with my Semogue the past few times I have used it, I have used it with soaps. It was brought to my attention to use more product and that it might depend on the brush not being broken in yet so I have decided to use it more often and with creams. I can use a lot of product and fill the brush up real good with lather and again just use it more often than I'm doing. Im SURE this brush will be very good fully broken in =)

My first shave using this new Omega brush and the VDH Deluxe soap was very, very pleasant. I whipped up nice lather easily, and this soap has great post-shave care.

    SOTD SATURDAY AM 4/11

    RAZOR '58 Fat Boy
    BLADE Astra SP
    BRUSH Semogue 1320
    SOAP Maggard Orange Menthol
    AS Barbasol Pacific Rush

Quick 2-pass shave today. No pic, no time. Tried a sample of the Maggard Orange Menthol today. Nice scent, but not very slick. Once the razor was past, it was bare skin, no residual protection. Had a decent CCS for working on a Saturday. Have a good weekend!
