    So this is what SE shaving is all about!
    I used a MicroMatic Clog-pruf today for the first time, courtesy of my friend Justin Wastell. My first impression is very positive - easy and much more comfortable than the MMOC. I made three drama free passes for a satisfying dolphin smooth finish. Dr. Jon's 1803 yielded slick lather to my Bronze Shadow brush, and the 1803 aftershave is soothing and smells great.
    Prep: Myrsol Emulsion
    Soap: Dr. Jon's 1803
    Brush: Brothers Bristles Bronze Shadow
    Razor: Gem MicroMatic Clog-pruf
    Blade: Gem PFTE
    AS: Dr. Jon's 1803

    Lather: Route 66 Cavendish
    Post: Witch hazel splash, Fine Platinum, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

    Nice shave again today. This is the same setup as yesterday with the exception of a different brush. This sample of Cavendish is pretty much done. I'll switch to a different scent for tomorrow's shave. Good result with this combination. The Black Hawk is really growing on me.

    Once again the Gillette Wilkie delivered on the smoothness and comfort with a super-BBS shave. I started a brand new Glacial Spearmint soap and got great lather as well as a mega-freeze from it along with perfect skincare. The matching balm and the Penguin prolonged that freeze so nicely! :happy088: :happy088:
