    Royal Copenhagen Musk ASL

    This little French Faux Frameback is very light weight. The shank is very narrow with a thin blade giving it a very light weight which requires some additional pressure to keep the blade in contact with the skin. I prefer a heavier blade but, this little French sweetie is still very nice to look at! lol

    Hi everyone!
    Preshave: Olive oil-water
    Soap: Hugo Naturals Grapefruit Geranium
    Razor: Vintage Henckels 5/8 1/2 hollow ground
    Aftershave: lotta water
    Brush: Omega 1005 beachwood

    Not a bad shave overall this morning. The old razor took a pretty good edge and did a decent job without too much damage lol. Str 8's getting better each time..am aiming for a DFS and it's getting closer. Got some bugs to work out but I'm nothing if not persistent.The razor action feels a bit rough still and handling the 8's really something to get used to..it's all good fun though..:)

    Schick E2 Injector Razor w/ Schick blade,
    Semogue SOC boar bristle brush,
    MWF shaving soap w/ warm water lather,
    finish with cold water rinse for a DFS!

    Schick injector with Schick blade
    Tepid water rinse
    Gold Bond lotion over my whole face

    The Gold Bond lotion is not your typical aftershave, but it can be soothing to redness from rosacea. Likewise, tepid water rather than the cold rinse I typically do seemed to help, too. Some days it is better, some days worse

    Thanks, I almost felt guilty when I picked this one up. Every once in a while an antique dealer is clueless. Sub $20, that's right in my wheelhouse.:)

    Master Bay Rum

    DFS by means of wtg, xtg, no touch-up. Cream for convenience today. Nice cool breeze last couple of days ... will be heating back up. Oh well, summer will be gone soon enough ... already half way through July.

    Shower & Shave
    Hot shower extremely stiff this morning, Mr Arthur is paying a visit.
    While showering the monster sized Omega 48 was warming up.
    Facial prep was the usual Proraso glycerin
    Soap choice was a sample of Mike's Natural.
    Last day for the Gillette Gold Tech with the Zoric blade. Perform well for 4 days of shaves.
    After three passes cold water splash, toning with RazoRock alum, and Kanaga Water to for the finishing touch
    A near perfect DFS.
    Everyone stay cool and well hydrated. Splash Osage as needed hourly.

    Sally's Hemp Aragon Oil Body Lotion
    Giorgio Body Spray

    The pitts felt good today ... nice and cool. With the regular amount of menthol I don't really feel it on my legs, but the Iced Juniper is a nice cream.


    YOU should try it if you haven't already. ;)


    Plus almost all of my limbs are sore from playing the Wii after a two year drought.. Ouch! :D
