I noticed that some "unscented" products are very mildly-scented. :)

    Dove Men Face Wash
    Tabac
    Frank Shaving Finest Badger
    GEM G-bar
    Treet Super SE (5)
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Pinaud Clubman

This is the last shave of GEM/ER Month.

The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Frank Shaving Finest Badger Brush. Two passes with my GEM G-bar SE razor and a Treet Super SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Yes, you are right.

I do avoid some so-called "sensitive" products that contain multiple perfumes and menthol. I'm thinking of Proraso white "sensitive", which makes my face turn quite red.

And some fragrance-free soaps do have distinctive smells from the ingredients even when they have no perfumes.

But overall, my face is much better these days!

I'm back after what turned out to be a chaotic week that was highlighted by a computer meltdown, and the arrival of a shiny new one... at least the daily shaves were still great.

    Today 3-30-2015

    Stirling Bay Rum
    Parker best badger
    Muhle R41 (Personna blue)
    Cold water/alum
    Captains Choice CoNT.

This was the last shave for this R41 for a while. Today, the postman delivered a 2011 R41 that I am really looking forward to testing out tomorrow. Yep, this week is still very young and already is worlds better than last week!

    Outstanding Tabacstag!
What a great shave! Tabac cream and soap combined to form optimal lather at the behest of my HIS brush. Der Vorschlaghammer used a new Voskhod blade to humanely and efficiently execute my stubble. PAA Gondolier finished up right, leaving my face smooth, soft and smelling great.

Bresduck Dubl Duck Satinedge, 11/16 Full Hollow, Square Point

Dubl Duck straight razors are shavers you can always trust. With their full hollow grinding, they are a joy to use: singing and effective, they always give a very good shave. This Satinedge is no exception and it certainly is a superb straight razor. Not to mention the super cheap Arko soap - however a very good soap - and the refreshing splash of Aqua Velva, for a very satisfactory shave!
    • Pre-Shave: Roberts Distilled Rose Water
    • Soap: Arko
    • Brush: Voigt & Cop - High Mountain White Badger - Maple Burl - 24 mm knot
    • Bowl: Chinese Cheap Bowl
    • Strop: Mastro Livi Loom Strop and Hand Palm
    • Razor: Bresduck Dubl Duck Satinedge, 11/16 Full Hollow, Square Point
    • Post-Shave: Argan Oil
    • After Shave: Aqua Velva Loción
