    Brush: Semogue OC boar
    Razor: Valet Auto Strop VC1
Blade: Gem PTFE (3); 3 passes

An excellent lather this morning from the SOC & Cade. I'm getting the angles down with the Valet. I did much better under my chin this morning. Now to just get the jawline figured out.

I've seen some interest on disposable blade straight razors, so I'll do a couple of shaves with mine. Close to BBS but at the expense of a few weepers.

This is my first chance to post today, it was an 0400 shave for an early start.

    Mem shave cream
Omega boar travel brush, face lather
EJ89, and Gillette 7O'Clock super platinum (blue) blade
Alcolado Glacial splash, and Visal AS gel

A quick two pass shave for an early day, had a hard time focusing at this time of the morning. A DFS anyway.
The visal gel was quite chilly, I'm liking that as well.

    Have a great day.

Nice 'n' easy shave. Came close to a BBS, if it weren't for some stubborn stubbles along my jaw line. But I'm not complaining!
    Have a nice one!

BBS. There. I said it. And that's the truth :prrr:.
I've been using the pre-shave balm everyday this week. I'm wondering if that's the secret to 4 straight days of outstanding shaves. I'll keep it going and see if anything changes with a different blade next week.

Steve, did I read correctly in an earlier post that you are lathering right on top of the TSD IZS PSB? Are you worried about your brush getting "gummed up"? I know that the soap will break down the TSD ISZ PSB, but I would be worried that it doesn't get it all off. When I use the TSD ISZ PSB, I wash it off in the shower before I get out and shave. If I don't scrub it real well with soap some still remains and I can still feel the slickness of it. I just worry that it would linger of my brush. Your thoughts?

    Hot shower and facial scrub
    Proraso Sensitive Pre Shave cream
Feather Artist Club SS (japanese style)
    Vie-Long 14075 Horse/Badger brush
Nanny's Ice and a Slice Soap
    Alum Block
    Re-Gen Oil
    L'Occitane Eau de Baux EDT
    Brylcreem Original

A good shave today. Only good....because for the first time in ages I drew blood and had to use a styptic match. A slight lapse in concentration resulted in some blood loss on my neck

You read correctly - I'm lathering right on top of the PSB. I'm keeping an eye on my brushes to see if there is any gumming up. It may take a while - I rotate through about a dozen brushes!

I hear ya! Please keep us posted. I'm very curious to see if there ends up being any build up on your brushes, because I've been thinking about doing the same thing. Thanks, Steve.
