Hey Buddys,

here my Shave of the Day. Sad thing, i don´t have a pic today because it is uploaded, but it won´t show up...so here is my equipment, i´ve used:

Razor: GEM Micromatic Bullet Tip
Blade: GEM Stainless
Soap: Fitjar Fjelheim
Brush: HJM
Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum

Great shave. The soap pairs very nicely with the AS. The razor is very gentle but the blade has seen it´s best days. Time to change it.

Bill, I think you'd love the Palmolive cream. It smells great, it gives lots of rich, creamy lather and it's also very skin-friendly. Wonderful stuff!

 

Shave 46. Until I had a a handful of straights freshly honed my Friedr Schlemper seemed like one of my sharpest razors. Today it seemed like it needed a refresh and I had to use more pressure than with my recent shaves. I ended up with an excellent shave but more noise from the alum than recently so maybe I didn't need as much pressure - or maybe I should refresh it more to make it sharper so that I won't use as much pressure...?

I recently had a shave with a Schick E2 which is one of the more aggressive injectors and today's shave was pretty much on par with it for overall closeness - just not as smooth. The gap is getting narrow.

Max confort for lounging around and watching football. Cool storm, three slim passes, and iced balm. Super comfy, smooth, and cleanly aromatic.
