Suggestions for a 24mm Boar Knot, or Donor Brush?

    The Omega 49 is a 27 mm knot. @Jayaruh had his Ferrule opened to 27mm to fit it. Mine is 24mm. I will break out the measuring equipment, and see what the true sizes of the knots are.
    I sent the original shedding Boar knot back to Whipped Dog, for evaluation. We will see what happens there.

    Well, I'm definitely not butchering the Stirling handle. So, I will wait a little longer to see what Larry, at Whipped Dog says, about the shedder I sent back. He says he doesn't have problems with that knot, from other customers.

    I broke out the digital caliper, and found out what I had thought. Both brushes were supposed to be 24mm.
    Omega- 24.09mm
    Stirling- 26.2mm

    Interesting, but the glue part at the bottom will be smaller.

    You'll have some working room with the Omega once the collar is off. Belt sander might come in handy. I've used and abused alot of Omega knots experimenting with brushes.
