Just scored a nice Micromatic open comb in its original case for about $6 on the bay - only problem is it came bundled with a Gillette Techmatic in its original case. Did a little research and although an interesting design and apparently the forerunner to the modern (curses!) cartridge razors - the Techmatic is generally considered one of the worst razors of all time! So here is my plan - going to look up Sarah Conner and park outside her house - when the obligatory Terminator appears, I will wave the Techmatic at him and have him follow me to a steel foundry. I will then throw the Techmatic into a vat of molten steel (I will however keep the nifty plastic Gillette travel case) and Voila - cartridge razors will disappear as they will have never been invented - errr something like that anyway. Do you guys think this will work?
