The bowl is a quality product. Looks very good and fells good touching it. The Dolomiti Soap has a scent to it, which i can´t describe. The Greek Peach smells awesome. Fruity, peachy, yummy!!! Tomorrow it will have it´s premiere.

I mistakenly sent him my email address, not realizing they were not taking orders. Evidently they had two extra titanium handles they said and would I like one. You bet! I grabbed one. Luckily the Euro was dropping, but it didn't save me much.

I'm on the Synthetic bandwagon…but not a Plisson.

I have an olivewood handle arriving soon to be paired with the synthetic knot I have from TGN.
Cost for both (with S&H) is about $40.

 

Excellent Gen 3 fiber.

 

It feels great to the touch, Gary—soft & quite badger-like.

 

Kevin, you will more than likely have to treat that handle to ensure water resistance. I worked one up last year before I became ill for a friend and fellow church member. There was no protective coating, even varnish, on it. I use an epoxy coating with a Custom 2 band badger to finish the brush. After it was finished he really, really enjoys it.

 

Thanks for the heads up, Gary. I was sort of anticipating a raw finish requiring some treatment.

 

The thing with the epoxy coating was smart, good to know

 

Found this Gerber at the local resale shop for $5. Brand new, not a scratch on it, edge looks never used. Have an old Schrade I usually carry but may be trading off for this one.

This little beauty arrived today my Jurgen Hempel Titanium handle in a blue anodized finish, I purchased in readiness for the eventual arrival of the polished Mongoose.
