Please share your haul here! Happy shaving!!.
Ahh, living vicariously through others good fortune and happy purchases. Pics or it didn't happen!
Early 1970's Set. Unused and still with plastic retail sleeve. A neat high school memory.
Talk about NOS. These boxes look like they were hermetically sealed for the last 40+ years. No ingredient list (Tallow formula). The wrapped pucks are still factory folded. IMO, I got a great deal. But that's coming from a vintage junkie.
Now, if I can score a puck of Yardley Black Label, I will be in hog heaven.
Congrats. Do you plan on using or just hoarding and looking?
Well how often do you see a vintage French Palmolive stick? lol I got one.
Not a bad haul in the mail today. All for $3.51 with free shipping. A Frank Shaving synthetic, box says badger, but I bid on the synthetic, with resin handle and also included a styptic pencil......
A nice C. V. Heljestrand arrived today. It's also labeled Sandvik-Bessemer on the spine. Time to do some research on this one.
Today was a very good day. I picked up two NOS GEM razors and a '52 Black Tip SS. Then when I got home the mail gods had 3 more Schick Injectors waiting for me.
The first photo is of the SE haul.
Schick Injectors L-R: E2, G6 & G1.
The G6 has seen better days but this is the first G6 I have seen. By the looks of it, it was well used. Very well used.
The GEM's I think are the best of todays haul. They both look like NOS in the original cases with paper cards where the blade goes. The metal one also has the original blade bank with 5 GEM blades in it.
The second one looks like the Feather Weight I have but is heavier and has a metal tip at the bottom of it. Any help in identifying the two GEM's would be a great help.
The Black Tip has a date code of X1. When I saw it in the wild it was covered in soap scum. I was able to make out the X but not the quarter. I thought it was a '77 till I got it home and looked it up. I found that Black tips were made in 51 & 52.
All this on sale for 30 bucks total.

It's a featherweight just dressed up. Shaves the same.
The other one is a G-Bar, an excellent razor.
Heavy flat top!!!
I went to one of my antiques stores and came to the realization that my Safety Razor RAD is under control. I didn't even make offers on these nice Gillette sets.
I did see an SE razor in the wrong case. I am not familiar with this one and it does use a proprietary blade.
I couldn't walk out empty handed, so I picked up this Williams shave stick tube. I haven't seen this one before.
Straight razor pickings were pretty slim.
With prices that you have I would be able to control my RAD as well, or be divorced. One of the two.

I have to admit the prices were a RAD killer
