You've got some good shavers there.

The FB, the Krona, and the RedTip are all high on my list and you'll find lots of love out there for the early S/S.

    20 bucks well spent.

Ten more tucks of BIC Chromium Platinum from a tiny pharmacy in Siem Reap, Cambodia. At ten cents a blade even if I get only two full beard and head shaves I have no problem with those economics, I haven't found a better blade for my head, at least in the R41. I will have to give the Nacet a go. I know Kai will last a lot longer, but at 3.5x the cost they're still not a compelling value proposition.

I'm not doing much shopping but there's plenty of "fell off the truck" clothing/shoes bargains, as well as all kinds of stuff at the Japanese second hand shops. Untaxed and smuggled liquor and cigs by far the greatest bargain though.

Lol I meant shaving related,... but sounds like a little bit of everything can be found there. Cool! I was imagining a bizarre and finding vintage English razors. Let me know if you see anything .

There's nothing shaving related at all here beyond the BIC blades (for barbers' shavettes). 100% of the general population uses carts or disposables. There is one shop that makes for export beautiful knives, swords, and (buffalo horn or bone) straight razors, but at I think $140/$170 I wouldn't say they're selling many to locals. I don't know enough about modern straights to know whether they're a bargain or not.

@Stu929, I use a rubbing compound made by Turtle Wax for polishing. That and a bit of elbow grease. :D

I was debating changing the knot but was worried about destroying the black ring. Was tempted to sell it or trade it.

I really like this style personally.

Great looking brush! I've tried the Stirling Gentleman (too much fragrance for my skin), but like the scent. Really enjoy the tub of Island Man I have. I'm very curious about the Ben Franklin; let us know how you like it.
