    Found this razor 'in the wild' out of town this weekend. Thought I was getting an English Rocket, but after looking online a bit, it appears that this is a #51/#53 Aristocrat Junior. Flat baseplate, convex bottom on the TTO knob. As it is in Canada, it could be one of the Aristocrat Jrs that came to Canada in Rocket Cases.

    It is quite shiny still, and I believe it will clean up very nicely.

    Once sold as a Sabi and still offered by New York Shaving as the Mariner or Tonsorial ($70), this one comes as a Boss Razor via Amazon for $15 delivered. May also be the same as the Toro Mastiff (?). A little scuff on the (heavy brass) handle but very nicely put together, perfect alignment. Aggressive in gap and exposure, it promises a good time (interchanging the Rockwell cap increases aggressiveness it appears). Anybody still using their Sabi or Mariner? Shave tomorrow but seems a great deal at $15.

    No, it's chrome plated brass. 107g for those into heavy. You should pick one up. I figure with the Pearl/Cadet baseplate also coming I'll be in aggressive razor mix n match heaven. Definitely not the same as the Razorock by the way.

    Thanks! It's a great assortment of SEs, DEs, and various other items.

    The big strop is a Sears & Roebuck Craftsman strop.

    There's an unopened pack of Gillette Blue Blades, a Colgate soap tube with soap in it, some Gems, EverReadys, Valet Autostrops, Gillette razors, and more.

    Going to have my hands full cleaning them up a bit.

    My 30DC LE brush just arrived. It's beautiful, feels good in the hand and the Cashmere knot is unbelievably soft. I'll be using this tonight.
