The Haul: June 2018

Oh, and I picked up a few razors too....

Three of them with black handles - a Schick and two Gillette's (one is longer than the other). The Gillette's have numbered dials on the handles.
And then a shiny silver colored Gillette.

I gave them an initial cleaning and it looks like with a little more work (and some polish) they might turn out okay.

The guy wanted $3 each for them and I wasn't going to buy them but I felt bad for him so I forked over $12. I mean, what am I going to do with four old worn out razors that nobody uses anymore?

I did a quick inventory and I don’t think I have a G anything in all of my razors.

 

I was lucky enough to get a G3 Aristocrat Adjustable in a PIF, but that's the only one I have.

 

Dang John! You said it was a big bottle of English Leather, but that is the biggest EL bottle I have ever seen. Should have come with a moonshine jug handle hahaha. Very nice find!

 

Went to the Maggard Meet yesterday and picked up a few things as well as some great samples to try. Great place, time, and people. I highly recommend it if you can make it. This was the second year me & my son Nate went and it is fantastic to meet some of the folks you see online and have some fun. I will warn anyone that it is a sensory overload on the old sniffer, but where else can you smell all the scents and fine products.

Nice cooling effect, great scent that lasted the entire shave with a nice thick lather. I give it .
