I also ordered some bath soaps. Executive Man for me Almond Cream for my wife Pear berry for my daughter
I'm trying to talk my wife into placing an order with me. I want some glacial bath soaps in the worst way.
I was looking at the Glacial bath soaps, but my daughter's share mine and I don't think they'd like that level of menthol. My youngest absolutely loves the MITA bath bar! She's the one who picked the Iced Pineapple.
I surely don't think the Glacial needs anymore, let alone whether or not it can handle it. I juice up the Iced or Chill soaps all the time, to make them more Glacial tho... I use crystals in aftershaves and bomb in lather.
It's a fact - these Glacial soaps contain the absolute maximum amount of menthol that the formula will allow. Any more would cause the formula to collapse. Now on the other hand, Rod is a soap genius. He uses a completely different production method which not only makes the Glacials feel colder than before, it also improved the lather quality 100%. I've never seen these soaps lather so quickly, easily, and hold such peaks as they've been doing since two years ago. For example, three years ago I had a sample of the Spearmint which apparently came off a puck from one of his older formulations. Yes, the sample lathered but I had a tough time getting it where I wanted it. Another time I had two Wintergreen pucks. One lathered great but the second one was acting quite finicky so I had to leave it out and uncovered because it seemed to need some extra curing time. A month or so later I tried it again and it was much better although it didn't have too much of the Wintergreen scent left. The ones I bought the year after were absolutely perfect!
Nice order, buddy! I see already that I need to place another order next month for some bath soaps like Glacial Obsidian, Glacial Spearmint, Glacial Lemon Chill, and MITA. I wish the Glacial Wintergreen bath soap was still available but it's been discontinued
Oh yes, I LOVE Obsidian very, very much. My wife can't stand the strong black licorice scent but it's a big favorite of mine.
Got two aftershaves to complement two tubs of soap in the same scents. Some Piacenza bath soap as a sample as well, and they all smell terrific. Love Stirling!
Rod, I have been having a run of soaps using Dragons Blood scent and liking very much. Is there any chance you might be using it in the future? Thanks for the head's up
Was the balm discontinued this year? I got the soap and splash. I didn't see the balm. I looked, although that really means little.
I've gone to using bath soap to sample scents. 3.00 vs 4.50 sample soap to body soap. Body soap will last much longer, at least in my den er, shower.
I like the shave samples. Maybe not the most economical choice, but it let's me have options to keep shaving interesting.
