That would pair well with the straight razor sporting the nekkid lady scales. (Did I mention I'm divorced?)
Just saw a very unusual French razor that made me go WOW! It's a BIN and so out of the park price I thought I'd share it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Fre...948443?hash=item41cf02e81b:g:R8cAAOSwFdJZtCpO
But it's only got flea bites and lost plating all over, and the box is chipped with a broken hinge. What a deal! The reversible base plate is interesting.
Remember, those give it _character_. Everyone knows that if it's not abused, it can't really be an antique!
That's right Pinkie(the seller's name)...dunk that baby in water, do a shave, repeat 20 times, and sell the thing.
I believe this is from the 50's suppose to be a great razor, but steep at half the price. In 2014 they were going for ~$90.
A pit or hole in the plating. It may affect the base metal under the plating. Not something that can be polished out.
While I like it, I have a very strong feeling that brush would suffer the same fate as the "leg lamp" from A Christmas Story were it to appear on my bathroom counter
Hmm... Doesn't hard liquor amplify rage? (wine == weepy drunk, beer==belligerent, whiskey==raging?) That'd make the brush 'self lathering'.
