TSD Soap Re-PIF *DONE*

Hello all -

Blanka generously PIF'd a mostly full container of JoAnna's TSD Shaving Soap, Bourbon Vanilla. Love the soap but SWMBO had other opinions. So in the spirit of the month I am re-PIFing it!

To participate:
1) Be a Shave Den member before March 1, 2012 & live in CONUS.
2) List your favorite Razor
3) Want this soap (well who would not!)

Deadline is March 31.
Winner will be selected on April 1 using random.org

Favorite razor Gillette Old Style Open Comb, I would like this soap.

Got to go with my '61 Fatboy, I also would like this soap.

 

I'm normally a scotch drinker but I do like bourbon in the fall. My favorite razor is the only DE I've ever used, my Merkur 38M. I do have a few vintage razors I need to try out some day though.

My first DE purchase was a Merkur Progress. Since then, I've been PIF'd a Gillette Tech and Knack. I've used them all, but I like the adjustability of the Progress. I dream to own a Gillette adjustable someday to compare.

Favorite would have to be the WW1 and before Gillette '04's. Great razors.

So hard to pick a favorite, but Mr. T and I think it might be my fully restored and bone-scaled Wade & Butcher.

 

Nice PIF! It's a shame you have to part with the soap. I want to do everything I can to help you deal with this problem . My favorite razor at the moment is a 1930s Gillette New.

 

I would LOVE this soap! I am an avid Scotch drinker (typically three times a week after dinner) and would love to have this soap. Problem is, my favorite razor is a (shamefaced frown) disposable. I know, I know, but I can't afford to buy anything better. That's the breaks when you teach at a parochial school. It does the job, though, so I just have to use 'em.

It's always changing, but right now my favorite is my Ever-Ready Streamline. Yep, gotta get more TSD soaps!

I'd like to try a TSD soap, and my favorite razor would be my Shumate 5/8 #018, or my Dovo Natural. Flip a coin they're both outstanding razors. My favorite DE is the EJ89L paired with a Voskhod blade.

 

My favorite razor is a 1941 Gillette Ranger Tech.
