Ugly razor, beautiful shave

Beauty is as always in the eye of the beholder. She looks fine to me.

 

What blade does she like?

 

Currently loaded with a Feather but hasn't seen much action lately. Oh, and here's why I'd consider a fresh finish...

 

All this reminds me that to a large degree a quality shave is more dependent upon technique than on the cost of a razor. And I guess that was the point of the O/P.

Yes, it is a two-piece. It has a smooth tightening action.
