WOW! I couldn't agree more with your video message. LOAD, LOAD, LOAD that brush and stop worrying that you are going to hurt your brush. The brush is a tool so use it as such. When it wears out throw it away and get another. Thanks for the nice video.
Amen Brother. I load for a long time, plenty of soap for the passes and on the third pass I squeeze out the brush and use it all. I like looking like the guys on the Arko and Cella packaging! I have enough soap to last a lonnnnng time!
A well-loaded brush should last for three passes..and perhaps more, depending upon the brush, the hardness of the water, and/or the type of soap being used.
I load so much that I can slather it on thick through all three passes without worry about running out. YMMV.
I look at loading the brush the same way as I look at tipping. It's no good unless you over do it. "Load the livin' tar outa that brush"
When I load, I could go 10 passes if needed. I've tried to cut back, but I don't get the same quality of lather when I try to spare the soap.
Martin, that's the biggest factor for me. I want the best lather the soap can give. Anything less is a waste of time, effort and money, IMO.
