Thanks for the review. I am curious how does the blade load into the razor. The reason for the question that I also have one. It it is the orginal metal box with the orginal blades and blade box.
Look at the photo in the Valet blades thread. In those two razors there is a stamped metal strip that opens to allow placing the blade in the bed of the blade holder. The hinged strip then snaps over the blade holding it securely in place. There is a lever at the back of the razor you must push up to loosen the head for blade insertion and then pushed back down to lock the razor in place for shaving. There are also a couple other Valet's that work a little differently. I have a Valet where the blade just sits in the cap of the razor and swing out ears at the end of the caps hold the blade in place. The cap has two nubs punched into the cap to position the blade cut outs. I don't have a Valet without the nubs. Len
