Vintage Merkur Razor

    I just bought this Merkur razor sight unseen.

    Can anyone tell me anything about it?

    Well, it's made of zinc alloy, nice handle.

    Yes, it appears to be hexagonal, Art Deco.

    It looks like the handle on the Lutz slant.

    And several million other Merkur, and rebranded razors. And, in my house at least, the same handle found on my RazoRock Old type!

    They've made similar razors for ages, it could be old enough to be "vintage" I guess. I am unaware of any way to identify the date of manufacture.
