Waiting on a restored brush that @jimjo1031 did a great job on. Also did a preorder on Barrister & Mann 42 aftershave and a towel. I already had the soap.
An unknown translucent yellow brush. Man I got it bad. Gonna re-knot with a Maggard's 22mm black synthetic (if it will fit).
That's what I'm hoping. Not sure if it's suppose to be yellow or if the clear aged yellow. I like yellow.
A Drygulch strop. I am preparing for my first foray into the world of straight razors. I have one on the way to one of our resident honers. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
COMPNOR: The soaps you sent are in Austin! Should be in my den tomorrow night...can't wait to try them. Thanks, dude.
Welcome to the dark side! Adam's strops are top notch and he uses high quality material. You did well. We've got a few good honers here and, whoever it is, your dealing with reputable gentlemen that know their stuff!
I feel pretty danged confident I am in good hands based on the work I have seen here. I'm excited! Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
And now I have some Stirling gear on the way: Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo shave soap Iced Pineapple shave soap A sample of Sandpiper shave soap Mentholated Sharp Dressed Man AS balm Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Whipped Dog silver tip badger brush. 24 mm with 51 mm loft. Ivory handle. This will be my first badger brush.
Some items from the TSD Shop: A couple different scents of the TSD Aftershave Milk to match soaps I previously got and liked (Lavender and Sandalwood), a bottle of M-Bomb so I can turn any shave into my individually chosen level of menthol for that day, and a bunch of sample scents of Salter, Trumper and TOBS shave creams that I was curious about. Those little samplers are a great way to try without buying a huge tubful that I may not like. Oh yes, and a couple empty tubs tossed in to hold some loose soap pucks. That's something I am still looking for - containers to hold extra "refill" pucks. I could use about 10. Any suggestions for good containers and where to get them? I know some people use a container that Ikea sells, for example, but there isn't a store in my province.
