What Manly Things Did You Do Today?

I left work early, picked up my oldest nephew from school early. Played hooky with him and took him fishing!
He is just now at that age where he has a bit higher of an attention span. He is super into technology, and his face is always in a screen, so its important that he has a bit of balance. Plus, he likes to bait his own hook with worms......
Then I dropped him off back at his house, after stopping at the store and getting him a red ICEE and skittles.... (best Uncle EVER!!!)
Picked up my 3 year old nephew, and took him to play at the park. He loves the park, and he hangs on me when I come to visit. So it was a win-win. He got to play, and I got to spend time with him. Plus, when he fell and scraped his knee.... I pulled out my truck first aid kit, complete with Ninja Turtle Band-aids and fixed him up.... He was so proud, he showed Mom 3 times.
Does that count?

 

Sounds manly to me!

 

After a 40 minute phone interview on Tuesday (found out he was the company owner). I was asked to come in on Wednesday for an hour and forty minute face to face interview with him and his business partner, and I was offered the position for the salary I requested. I accepted the position today and will report in on Monday.

Manly or not I'm happy!

I moved a 130 lb. stationary bike into the middle of the living room, repositioned the mat it was on and then moved it back to a better spot. I did this by myself.

 

Are you implying @Sara-s is Sher-ra? @Sara-s do you have blue eyes? Then you might be She-ra.

 

I do have blue eyes. But I’m an archer, not a swordswoman.

Replaced the bearing in the washing machine. Though I did have to read the directions. Then put together a shower bench.

1. Made Salsa for the next few weeks.
2. Got my daughter ready for school, and booted her out the door, on her bike.
3. Had a 1 1/2 hrs workout at the gym. 5th one this week. It's time for a break.
4. Cleaned up all the leaves around the yard, and driveway.
5. Changed the oil and filter, as well as the fuel filter on my Dodge Deisel Truck.
6. Mowed and edged the yard.
7. Trimmed several 3-5 inch branches from a tree, that was too close to the roof. I needed an extension pole and ladder to reach.
8. Showered and shaved, with a straight razor.
9. Made a huge mug of coffee, and here I am now.

I don't know why I'm tired, I must be getting old.
