My wife and me shared a Gouden Carolus (Cuvee van de keizer). That's not so special, given that we live close enough to Belgium. However, what is special, is the text on the bottle! Can you guess it? (We bought it at the brewery, by the way).
Okay I'll play. It says it's imported by a company in Virginia. And the bottle return states. Not to mention the US Surgeon General's warning.
Indeed it looks to be a USA import bottle, which is very interesting for a bottle that I bought at the brewery, in Belgium. It was a great beer, by the way.
This afternoon watching college football, a rare glass of soda. I’ve lost 30 lbs from my peak weight, down 20 from where I used to average, mostly by substantially reducing sodas and sweet tea.
Sitting here watching college football and sipping my favorite scotch - Oban. Have a few visitors waiting for supper. I'll pick them apart and then sip some more Oban and watch some more football. Dungeness Crab are in season right now and everyone has good pricing so I picked a few.
