I would love to get my hands on that injector. It looks like the safety bar has been cocked back and down. Without a blade or a blank in it it would be hard to load a new blade. I think once you load a new blade in it it will be easier to inject new blades.
99.9% that can be put back into place and she will work just fine. I have a pretty extensive schick injector collection and have had a few where I had to manipulate that very piece and it almost "snapped back" into place and they were fine from there on out. Blade in or out.
...but finicky injectors and finicky magazines is why I settled on the Hydro-Magic. It's the only IJ that I know of with a head designed to open up. After a slight mod with the Dremel, I load loose blades by hand, quickly and safely, and no tedious mucking around with mags.. *Pic linked above is not mine. Despite the crud, you can see how the lever lets the "jaw" drop open.
