Nice pipes guys! Smoking Pirate Kake in an Italian basket pipe. This thing looks so Savinelli.

 

A Mark Tinsky freehand from the mid 90's. Wonderful smoker (as are all Mark's pipes).

Thsnk you. One of my favorites. Some kind of a Made in Englsnd type as I recall. Perfect size for a heavy Perique blend!

 

Indeed. It looks like a GBD shape, maybe Parker. Those London made baskets can be real gems.

 

I love it. The shape is perfect. I have picked up several in that shape. Mostly Dr. Grabows.

 

This is a Parker (GBD second) I picked up a few years back. Very similar shape. It loves VaPer as well.

Do you smoke at all at work?

 

Sometimes you can find real bargains in basket/counter pipes! As long as the draft hole is at or very close to the bottom of the bowl, they can be excellent smokers.

 

Nope. Company policy is no smoking in uniform. Technically the plant is nonsmoking. It is ok if sitting in vehicle...I can not even do that. So a pipe on the way towork most days and one or a cigar on the way home.
