When I think of high quality, hand made shaving brushes, there is only one name that pops in my head...Bernd Blos, the founder of Shavemac. Sure there are other people and corporations out there making quality shaving brushes, but when I order from Mr Blos, I feel like i'm dealing with him personally, and this is a time where smaller is better.
When you make hand crafted products for a group as small as wetshavers (we are growing), every sale, and every customer counts. Shavemac would like to thank all their customers, past and present, and they've decided to offer a holiday group buy for us, but this group buy has a twist. Often these group buys are for expensive and sometimes extravagant items. They often come at times when money is thin, making a purchase difficult or impossible, but not this time. Up for offer, are two brushes from his new Retro-Line, and a beautiful nickel plated stand. The brushes chosen are smaller brushes, featuring a 18mm, or 20mm knot size. These smaller sizes helps keep costs down while still giving you a great product. Often I hear people ask for a recommendation on a good inexpensive brush... well here it is. Lemme get to the good stuff. Depending on your options, the brushes start under $50, and the stand is just under $25 (if you opt for it). You've got less than 14 days to take advantage of this one. [imga=left]http://www.theshaveden.com/forum/vbpgimage.php?do=full&p=1680&d=1216086390[/imga] Yesterday, we surpassed the 100,000 post milestone.
Thanks go to all our members for supporting TSD along the way. It has been our goal since we opened (about 17 months ago) to make this not just a forum, but a home. We've worked hard to make this "home" not only informational, but fun. Thank you all for being there along the way, and contributing to the environment that makes this place so nice.
I must also thank our mods (past and present). There are times we fuss with each other, and times we laugh with each other... being a moderator can be a stressful job. In the end we've put our heads together to create and operate a great place. Thanks everyone.
Finally, our 100,000th post was by sicboater. -click here- We've put together a small goodie bag just for this event. Rob, stay tuned for a pm, as we'll be needing your shipping address.
