I have been a "watch" person since I was about 8 years old...just made the switch/jump to a smart watch when my wife got me the samsung galaxy watch...love that thing.
Lol. Someone, MUCH more clever than I am, once said: "Think you really want it? Think you need it? Take one week. Don't get it. At the end of the week do you even remember why you wanted it?"
I can relate. My newest watch won't fit in my 20 watch case. What to do now? You have some very nice watches.
There's a Bulova watch currently on Massdrop. It's a Bulova Accutron II Spaceview. Seems like MSRP is $450 and the lowest Massdrop price will be $209 In three different styles.
To no surprise Amazon is almost at the same price at $224 w/ free shipping So - maybe less of a 'fantastic' deal.
The thing I don't know about watches is how much I should pay. It seems like retail list price means nothing. I'll give you a couple eBay examples: https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/201066662257 https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/331762152143 Both are watches I'm interested in but watch prices seem crazy to me. Mind you, I'm no more interested in collector watches than I am collector razors. I just want users that I find appealing. I guess reliability might be a factor too but I assume most modern watches to be reliable or am I wrong in this?
I gotta say, that watch is looking good. That one hand crawling its orbit around the pin ever so slowly. I know I'll eventually get one.
Truth. I literally wanted a particular watch for 25 years but couldn't or wouldn't turn loose of the money. I still wanted it in 2010, so I got it. No buyer's remorse in the least.
