Two band brushes usually do have a third band. It just gets covered when you set the knot. Set that one deeply enough to almost cover that third band and you'll have a really nice Two-Band brush with good backbone.
Hold the blade at the square end always and don't press on them. Not sure what your stock is but the Aristocrat is a pretty efficient razor, go light on the pressure. Have fun!
My stock is: Weishi Merkur 180 Hoffritz slant Red tip 66slim 40s gold tech tv special 75 black handle Gillette ss 37 Sheraton 46-47 aristricrat
Thank you. I told myself I was stopping at 9 but the next ones coming in were soo cheap and on my radar .. I couldn't help it!!
I always seem to find an excuse, it's either on sale or I was already buying a soap here, it never ends!

Thank you for that. I just bought a case for it as well. I'm not sure if it's date correct but for $9 I'm ok with it.
Lol you know you have a problem when you have your stuff shipped to a different address so the wifey doesn't see..
My latest haul is this British Gillette Aristocrat No.16 and as far as I see, it's barely used, no scratches at all, extremely shiny. I think it's rhodium plated. I'm extremely pleased because of its look and feeling.
