Need rain badly in Alabama. Severe drought here also. Rivers drying up, lakes way down.

As I sit here at the computer I look out over my property covered by hundred foot tall douglas firs and western red cedars.. Off course it is also over cast with a light drizzle. Typical northwest day but thats also why I have these huge trees to look at.

Sunshine, blue sky and low 50s. A beautiful Fall day so befitting Thanksgiving!

Move that location marker over a hundred miles or so, and that's me. The rain started on Friday and hasn't stopped yet.

You're in Commerce City? That's one of 3 suburban-Denver cities on my "list" to review more.

27 deg F this morning. Coldest yet this year. Lots of snow in the mountains (Olympics and Cascades) nearby (can see it from my house) with heavy snows predicted over the next 24 hours. Mountain passes will probably get over 2 feet tonight. Living right here on the salt water at sea level we probably won't see anything except a flurry. Will be a good night for a fire in the wood stove, watch Thursday Night football and sip bourbon.

Sounds like a plan. There will be football watching, but no bourbon. School night. 'Cause you know ya can't drink just one:D

Nope not just one - almost half time and I'm on my second glass. There may even be a third during the second half. But then being retired - all I need to do tonight is walk about 30 feet to the bedroom from where I'm sitting.
