He's a very talented craftsman. Plus a real gent. From his website: As of October 3, 2016, Brad Sears Shave Works delighted to announce a collaboration with Morris & Forndran, one of the finest names in Shaving Brushes. Quality stuff right there….
There is no denying that M and F makes some of the most classicly wonderful brushes out there. Maybe his partnership with Brad will bust him loose from the Howard Hughes - ness of his mastery, and allow some new people to enjoy his work. That is a beautiful brush, Kevin. Congrats!
Yes, it does single blades too. That is what I will probably be using. It probably won't be until January before I try this out. Well, maybe I will do one of two passes with it. I am doing Gillette DEs this month.
Gift in the mail from another member, awesome scent and performance. Stopped in my favorite junk shop today. No razors, but he had a box full of old Case knives I helped him figure out the ages on. Will go back for one of those. Did find a soap stick case and four Wade & Butcher DE blades. They are thick, curved, and look like they could be honed. Anyone know anything about them?
Great little razor. I rather like them but find it to be just a little bit too lightweight. It is however the only mass produced injector Gillette ever made
I had some time to kill before my flight and stopped at an antiques store. I found a nice straight that is now in the belly of the plane. Pics to follow.
I saw this scratched up case at an antique store with a Tech in it. I offered a couple of bucks for the case and brought it home and put my 195 in it. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
