Yet another vintage butterscotch brush. Pretty sure this a Simpson as well.

Can think of way worse ways to go.

 

Since I rather like Wilkinson blades - but normally the black cased ones - I thought I'd try these white ones as well.
I have no idea if there's any difference but since I got 60 blades for $5 it seemed worth a shot.

 

Picked up two things;

1) A Cooper DE for $30-something - (the hinged model not the three piece) that I can't recall if one can use modern DE blades w/out modding them or not


2) Some disposable Grange razors that I've looked for for a ridiculous long time - the Wilkinson Retractors

 

The Cooper is a MonoBilt and does take a standard DE. I had my eye on that one too.

 

Ah thanks. I get confused w/ Coopers. So many models. The Monbilts that have the swing opening and that takes modern DE blades that I normally see have a somewhat different handle. Good to see this one will take modern ones with any mods. Should be interesting to try it out.

 

I really like the way my Monobilt shaves. I'm interested to hear how you like yours.
