I've been waiting for a new Ladies Beauty Supply store to open for ten days or so. Caught them with the Grand Opening banners unfurled yesterday. Beelined to the Mens section where they have the full line of Bumpless shave powders, all scents of Lustray products, a couple Lucky Tiger thingies...There it was! Pinaud products set low at the end of the display. Lime Sec. I've found I'm partial to citrus scents & have wanted to sample this one, but all the other shops didn't carry it. With a bottle in hand I moved to the front counter. While waiting to speak to the proprietor who was having issues with all the new stock not yet entered into the computerized register, I scanned the glass display case.

Personna, Dorco ST-300 & 301, several choices for the Weck shavette, and Derby half DE's. Right in front of the register were a couple of display boxes full of eyebrow trimmers! My assumption being these are of the type that Brian
@mrchick has tried, I chose an Annie brand in green instead of pink. The other two types seemed of a lower grade of disposable plastic one time use quality. When I finally got the cover off I could see the blade clearly.

I don't know if it has a guard wrapped around the edge or if it's serrated. Caution to the winds of MAYhem, I lathered up a thick creamy slick bowl full of Tabac. Being cautious with a new*to*me razor my set-down was careful. A full WTG pass was tuggy but no blood. The handle of the Annie is comfortable, but that not quite DE blade didn't give a shavette like reduction. I think I could enjoy a kamisori. This was better than a Sayuri for the stainless steel blade over a carbon steel. Not something I'll shave with again. Might try straightening my eyebrows. Quick relather, Fat Boy set to number nine and took a redeaux WTG. The blade seemed chattery, loud. As I rinsed the extra wet lather out I noticed I needed to get that 1/4 lock down turn. Gillette now correctly adjusted I proceeded to finish my most MAYhem filled shave of the month (so far). Alum was not hotter than normal considering the Circus Show I'd just delivered to my face. Up came a long anticipated post shave treat! Pouring a goodly handful of Lime Sec, applying to cheeks and neck... huh. Light on scent, good alcohol burn. I was hoping for Jolly Rancher sweet candy flavor. There's a bit of lime. Not the Pinaud
in your face scent parade I've come to expect. Oh, well. My delayed gratification reduced to just acceptance. Still got a DFS with no blood on steel. The Tabac/Pinaud left a smooth face feel.
Good Shaves Y'all!
