Hey man...Please don't take offense if we keep beating this horse.....But I also feel, maybe the horse isn't exactly "Dead" yet....
If there is anyway we can help...and you do find a way to make this injector work for you....I mean...
1.: injectors can be incredible razors....
2.: this was your Pop's razor...that makes it priceless....
So lets run every possibility down....one at a time.....if thats alright with you....and maybe we can find the problem
Of course if the dye is cast, and you are not interested, then we should respect your wishes and back off...
Let us know if thats the case....
Now pending hearing from you....I'd like to open this up...
I took your photo and enlarged the razor's head:

Does it look like the gap is larger between the blade's edge and the safety bar on one side than the other??
Is it possible maybe from this angle...that the left side of the blade could be on top of the tab that holds the blade in place??? I can't tell...the hairs from the brush block that tab...but it sure seems to me that that blade is out of alignment...But it could be an optical illusion from enlarging the shot...
Yo
@twhite @Karl G @Billyfergie @wchnu and anybody else who would like to get to the bottom of this....
Does it look strange?
Do you think when you dropped it...could it have knocked the blade out of alignment? Was this pic before you dropped it or after...
Maybe you need to take a good photo of just the razor head...
1 loaded with the killer blade in question...if it is indeed out of alignment, that could answer some questions...
2 and reload a new blade, and take a few shots from the same angle...
3 a close up shot of the spring, to see if it's been tampered with..
So we can compare....and make sure there is no shake, rattle and roll....that the blade is tight and behind those front tabs....Sometimes with a G, if someone has forced the spring open, there can be a dangerously aggressive problem...Can we see a close up shot of the spring?
What do you guys think??
