The no-brand, repaired razor was very cheap.

Just acquired a 1911 OLD at the fleamarket this morning. Looking forward to the blade Focus

This setup is too easy. A great shave everytime. This was my first use of this razor, NEW LC with thin bar handle.

Blade auditions for my Gillette 1911 OLD start Sunday. She's already locked & loaded with my baseline blade, Gillette Silver Blue.

I won't have this in hand for another month but anxious to see how she goes. Anybody's favorite? Shim?

After shave: Arko Men Cool after shave cream.

Hi, I don't think you will need a shim, I never did, but YMMV. The New Improved razors are very efficient. Even more so than a Gillette New. Or at least that has been my experience. I think you will enjoy it. Have a great night!

After shave: Cella after shave lotion.

I was on holiday just 20 miles from where this was made in Italy so it would have been rude not to get it.
Darn fine razor, been my daily driver ever since.


It's a shame the box didn't withstand airport luggage handling!
