    This setup is too easy. A great shave everytime. This was my first use of this razor, NEW LC with thin bar handle.

    Hi, I don't think you will need a shim, I never did, but YMMV. The New Improved razors are very efficient. Even more so than a Gillette New. Or at least that has been my experience. I think you will enjoy it. Have a great night!

    I was on holiday just 20 miles from where this was made in Italy so it would have been rude not to get it.
    Darn fine razor, been my daily driver ever since.

    Second shave this morning with my 1911 OLD, first on weekday stubble. The OLD/GSB duo, did not disappoint. Near BBS, with 2.5 passes of shaving excellence!!
