    Trippy photo, Jim!
That's some awesome value out of that sample, Perry!
I hear Proraso red is one of the better sandalwood scents out there.
    Cool setup, Brian!
    Gorgeous pic, Clint!
My attempts at using Lord blades always leave me with a meh feeling.
    Very Nice, Mark!

This morning was the first time that I used a razor other then my RR Baby Smooth in 3 weeks and I decided to go with a vintage blade to boot! Paying very close attention to angle and pressure I was able to duplicate the smooth, close, irritation free shave that I have come to expect from the Baby Smooth! The Spoiler was very nice, as sharp and as smooth and any top tier modern blade. Superbly wonderful lather thanks to the 30DCLE and TFS BFF. I got such a great lather I had to take a pic of it! Have a great day friends!

Thank you. Those scales make me nervous though. They are celluloid, and of a make that is notorious for rot. So I keep it by itself, and look at it five times a day to make sure they aren't turning black or warping or something.

It maybe isn't a razor for a guy with obsessive tendencies. I may need to have it rescaled.

Just keep the celluloid COOL, DRY, and DARK. Celluloid is sensitive to elevated temp, stagnant moisture, and UV light. Here's a thread on SRP addressing the chemistry of cell rot featuring a lengthy and epic spar I had with the late Neal Miller. I miss this guy a lot. A good friend, and an irreplaceable asset and font of wisdom to the wet shaving community. Look up "Lovable Curmudgeon" in Webster's and you'll see Neal's picture.

Yes, I do get all "Chemistry-ey" in the thread, but by the time you finish the thread, you'll know more about celluloid decomposition than the average guy.

Thank you. The brush certainly gives a full face feel when face lathering.

The Glacials are an awesome way to kick off a morning. I have never tried a Big Ben blade, but if you are gettingat least six shaves out of one, they must be pretty good.

Thank you. It was an SRP thread that originally got me hyperventilating over it. I will check this one out when I get home.

Either this razor or blade is causing a few weepers. I'll try a different razor tomorrow to see if that helps.
    Good soap.

Adjustable August; Cool water, menthol Monday, Barbasol with a brush, Inspired - Focus

    Barbasol Arctic Chill cream
    Omega Pro #10098 boar
    Osaka Suribachi bowl
    Fat Bot on 9, Sputnik
    Alum, Pacific Rush

Crossed several threads that lead me to today's set-up. Barbasol with a brush reduces the canned air propellant when you add a little water and punch it down. Being a Menthol Monday in August the cool water was welcome. Been keeping the #195 on number nine for months. Loaded with a Teflon coated Sputnik it did easy reduction on less than my normal every-other-day routine. Alum told me my technique was acceptable. Applying the Barbasol AS betrayed no major problems, and only enough slightly missed lower neck to rate this a DFS-, but for sure CCS.
    Good Shaves Y'all!
