Mine was gifted to me. It seemed like a good 'in.

 

Mine is a Distinguished Rifle Badge .Badge # 1137 It took a lot of hard work to earn .Received it in 1994 .The number 1137 means I am the 1137 individual who received this honor since the civil war .

 

I was really hoping you were gonna tell me you were from Witchita.

I was on a kick awhile ago of watching some Humphrey Bogart movies, and remembered a great scene from Key Largo where Edward G. Robinson get shaved while smoking a stogie and flipping his lid. Did a search for an image of it and found it. It seems to have cut the stogie out.

I used to see this on Cotton Belt box cars up until the mid-80's, I think. Southern Pacific line ran about 75 yards behind my house, on the other side of Mrs. Tabb's horse pasture. Spent many a day walking the tracks. Can't do that now, they'll throw you in jail fro trespassing.

 

Ha. I was going to mention that my handle is a play on a certain song about sharing women and wine.

Kidding aside, I actually started that thread a while back. It was fun. Worth reincarnating, or starting anew.

 

I wanted something that represented my shaving experiences. It was chosen as the reason why I chose to find a better way of shaving.

Tired of the default avatar, I searched the internet for an image to steal.
Couldn't find an image that didn't look like I just stole it from the internet, so....
Took a picture of the pumpkin pie that I'd been smellin' for fifteen minutes.
Thought I would change it to something really cool later. Meh, why bother.
