Good shave tonight. DFS again but so so close to BBS. Going back to soap for next shave. I think I like them better. Pretty keen on the blade though. Will buy more of these.

Tonight's shave was with a freshly honed razor. I had a nice 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS. Zero issues.

Prep: pre shave soap mix
Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic
Blade: Gillette Platinum
Brush: Razorock BC Plissoft
Soap: PAA Harvest Moon
Post: PAA Cold Spices


This shave went remarkably well. Lather was much better than some of my other shaves with PAA, very slick and it whipped up fast in the copper bowl. Ended up with a very smooth BBS shave. No burning from the Cold Spices A/S, plus the scent lasted a good while.

Very refreshing 3 pass shave. The menthol from the pre shave goes perfectly with the chocolate scent of Mallard. Performance of GD soaps is one of my favorites in the den, lather can take a boat load of water and is very peotective. Finished off with CK Olive Branch which has a white chocolate note which goes well with Mallard.

Couldn't get the photo from today's shave to load. This was my first time with a SE razor and it was not as scary as I first thought. It reminds me of an injector but perhaps a bit more agressive, did get a small nick but other than that it was smooth sailing. Finished off with matching Leviathan aftershave to keep that awesome scent going. Hope everyone had a great shave!
