Thanks @Jim99 most Red Tip are very hard to find in very good condition, as soon as I saw it, I grab it straight away and hit my piggy bank a little harder.

 

Some folks who have a functional 3000 VPM handle use theirs.

Every time I try for a C4, they get high prices. Nice one.

 

A while back I had ordered a shavette and it got lost in the mail apparently.I had to get Ebay involved and then the vendor sent a replacement apparently 2 day mail.So that is a point in the vendors favor.Somewhat makes up for his lack of communication earlier.However he sent a shavette that that has one of the scales discolored.The scales are wood,dark brown in color.But one of the scales has a blonde section about a half inch by a quarter inch.Looks like it could have been an area of dead wood .Gripes my aszz.If you have a customer who is annoyed would you send a good speciman or would you sent an obvious poor sample?Not real happy here.

 

Pics ... I'm not saying "It's not big deal", but are you sure it's not just a color variation in the wood? Might just be a bit of character in the wood. I know how this sort of thing can just frost your day.
