That's ANOTHER one.....I don't understand how "ideas" got thrown into the mix. but I've lived with it most of my life.
Maybe cause somebody thought it was a great eye-dee-er to douse on the Clubman right before heading off to the maa-kit to stroll with the Clubman Babes!
It's hard to get encouraged to write about Clubman in this warm/hot weather, but I've begun to play around with what I'll include in my "Pinaud Package Of 2019".
I’ve been rockin’ Clubman two or three days a week on average. While it’s not technically a “summer scent,” it’s either going to be received well or not, regardless of the calendar.
I've been using Clubman for years and though I do use it year round; I find due to its warming effect, I use it far less in the warmer months. The scent isn't a problem (SWMBO is a big fan) any extra warmth in July isn't welcome.
Y'know, now that I think of it there are SOME Clubmen products that are manageable in the summer-like Gent's Gin(which I'm enjoying now), and those Lime aftershaves(which I may purchase some summer). But those aren't the same as the vintage barbershop classics(Original, Special Reserve)that are enjoyed in the fall/winter. I'd say the other two "Clubman Reserve" brands(besides the Gent's Gin)would be best in the warm weather, too.
Interesting-I just looked at tbem both(Clubmanonline.com)and felt I'd go with Sec. But yo'u're right-I'm sure both are fine. My goal is to have enough Razorock "Lime Burst" soap left for it. Course soaps tend to last quite a while.
I guess there is SOME C.I. groove to that, but it appears too clovey for me. (To be fair, I haven't tried it). Cloves=Christmas, not Carribean)
