Got the Wade & Butcher honed up and ready for shaving... Near wedge is always a little bit of a crap shoot for me, but two layers of tape and this edge turned out fine. Very happy! Enjoy your shave! Tom
Thanks for the link, Tom. I enjoyed reviewing it, and think it’s a really cool idea. I’ve got a couple of broken horn scales and was wondering what to do with them, and that’s a very creative and cool idea. Once I get going on the scale building I think it will be fun to experiment like you have.
Glad you liked it Randy. There may be better options, but the 2 part Gorilla Glue Epoxy seems to be holding up.
Shave #25 on the Filly 14 edge longevity test. Still smooth and shaving well. I gave it 10 canvas after shave #24 just because, but otherwise it’s just been 35/65 seude/cordovan. Cream was SMN latered with a Simpsons 57, Thayers Rose Petal finished things up. Cheers, Steve

Tonight's shave was with a sweet shaving Sheffield razor. I had a perfectly smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues. It mowed down 2 days growth, effortlessly. Razor- Wade And Butcher. Sheffield England. Brush- Wilkinson Sword Boar. 3 hairs shed. Soap- Arko Stick Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy. Triple Crown Decanter.
