SOTD DEcember 11th GEM Micromatic OC GEM Industrial CS (2) Cella of Hagen Street Yaqi Ruby Red (24mm, Frigate Class) Second shave on the GEM Industrial CS blade wasn't as smooth as the first after doctoring it up. I will give it another stropping on leather before its next shave to see if that helps.

If you have not tried the Schick Proline blades, I would give them a try. For me the Proline blades made all the difference. YMMV
I absolutely love my V2 OneBlade. It is one of my top razors. I too get consistently great drama free shaves. Most of the time I use a modified Gem blade with the spine removed and holes enlarged so the blade locks in. I get better shaves with the Feather blades but the Gems are more economical.

I had tried it with Schick Blades but it never seemed to work well so it has been put away in a cupboard. I loaded it up with a Personna, and only intended to have a few Strokes but it started so well that I did a full Shave. I could've easily passed on this stylish little Razor without realising how well it actually performed with the Right blade, it now has to be included in future rotations.

In fact for me works better than some of my more favoured blades. Be interesting to see how many Shaves the blade delivers in comparison to the likes of a Proline.

The blade is new and almost felt like a dud. First pass reduction was spotty and I let it go after two passes. Not as close as my normal morning shaves, but that's okay. Enjoy your day!
