Second shave on the GEM Industrial CS blade wasn't as smooth as the first after doctoring it up. I will give it another stropping on leather before its next shave to see if that helps.

If you have not tried the Schick Proline blades, I would give them a try. For me the Proline blades made all the difference. YMMV

 

I absolutely love my V2 OneBlade. It is one of my top razors. I too get consistently great drama free shaves. Most of the time I use a modified Gem blade with the spine removed and holes enlarged so the blade locks in. I get better shaves with the Feather blades but the Gems are more economical.

Hi,
I have used the Proline which is perhaps my favourite single blade to use in Injectors, but it looks like the Personna is working better for me in the Supply.Will have a few more back to backs to confirm this.

After good Shaves with the Supply / Personna , it dawned on me that I had never used one in the Personna SE Razor. I had tried it with Schick Blades but it never seemed to work well so it has been put away in a cupboard. I loaded it up with a Personna, and only intended to have a few Strokes but it started so well that I did a full Shave.

I could've easily passed on this stylish little Razor without realising how well it actually performed with the Right blade, it now has to be included in future rotations.

Another good Shave with the Supply today, which confirms to me that the Personna blade works very nicely for me in this Razor. In fact for me works better than some of my more favoured blades. Be interesting to see how many Shaves
the blade delivers in comparison to the likes of a Proline.

Strange shave today. The blade is new and almost felt like a dud. First pass reduction was spotty and I let it go after two passes. Not as close as my normal morning shaves, but that's okay. Enjoy your day!
