Up and back to work this morning. Maya is doing well. She is still in pain but is moving around very well and so chipper. With that positive attitude she'll be fine. The scrubby Zenith Boar whipped up the Proraso with ease. Three passes and touch ups with the Supply SE 2 dot plate ended in a near perfect shave. Just a wonderful drama free smooth shave. I hope everyone has great Tuesday.

I'd replace that soap with Noble Otter, Andrew...quick, fast, and in a hurry. Even the otter would be a better visual in the den. ;)

RazoRock 400 Noir Plissoft Synthetic Shaving Brush
Salsa Bowl / Timeless bowl scuttle
    Murphy & McNeil – Trinity - Sample
Yaqi DOC Mellon head on unknown brand aluminum handle
    Pinuad Clubman Classic

Awesome shave this morning with no weepers or nicks. Just a nice comfortable shave with three passes. It is hard to beat the Yaqi DOC head. It is great value and shaves great.

The fluted aluminum handle came in yesterday from Poland. It was on a G/N razor head but I don’t think it was original to the head. The handle is hollow and is very light and has to be paired with a light weight head. The handle is unusual and looks great with the Razorock 400 brush. The handle took a little work but polished up nice.

The Murphy & McNeil Trinity performs great and the more I use Murphy & McNeal soap the more I like it. I took just a small amount of the soap with my finger and smeared it onto the bottom of the salsa bowl. It did not take long to whipped up some nice thick lather. The Murphy & McNeil soap performs great.

Finished up with some Clubman classic and out the door to work.

Y'all take care, have a great day and shave on!

Not as much burn this morning with the Stoylin Spice A.S., than the last time, but I still need to be careful.

It looks to be a clone of a German design. I noticed someone posted a picture of a slant yesterday which seemed to have the same lineage for plate curvature and safety bar design.

Love it! The Wunderbar is one heck of a razor! I know some people say slants are a gimic and that you can replicate the slant action through technique (which you can). But I think a slant razor does it more consistently.
    Very nice Aaron!
I'm glad you got the blade back in working order, Keith! Its a beauty!
Wonderful shot Perry! Good luck to your groups, I'm sure they will do well!
    Beautiful shot, Jim!
I am very jealous of your OS Lime and that CH2, Joseph!
    Sounds fantastic, Randy!
Gorgeous shot, Clint! I'm glad to hear that Maya is up and moving around and in good spirits!
Great work on that handle, Danny! Fantastic shave!

    Stirling Hot Apple Cider Soap

Minimalist shave this morning with a rare face lather. Used the big Doug Korn Stubby to lead the assault on the remaining Stirling Hot Apple Cider. Nice heavy load and then to the face. I was surprised to find that this knot has a little bit of scritch in it. Made a voluminous creamy, shiny, slick lather. This brush holds enough lather for 5 passes easily, I only needed 3. Smooth, easy, drama free shave with the C2. Have a great day my Friends!

    RyX DoH!

Looks great Danny! Mothers Aluminum polish? Nice pairing for a photo. Even better that the handle enhances the shave. A modern Chinese made top cap stud mating with a vintage German handle thread? Priceless! So there's no markings on that aluminum handle? No clues as to the maker? It might be repurposed, formally not from a razor even?

John @John Ruschmeyer sent me a Yaqi DOC equipped with a Gillette Bar handle. It serves well & even still has most of the nickel plating unlike the same G-Bar handle on my NEW LC that's fully bare brass. You've got me looking for a new or different handle. ;)

I'd recommend using 2x12 shelves and 4x4 posts...and the long screws for extra support. ;)
