  1. I use the treadmill for walking, the recumbent bike or the rowing machine at my gym. If she has a gym membership, then she can enroll in aerobic classes, like zumba, bodyworks, etc.
  2. Thank you Charlie.

    I skipped 2 days last month. :D
  3. Your avatar looks like Charlie the Tuna, Charlie. :happy102:

  5. Great report Gary! To me, old school is the new cool!
  6. She has a membership here at home in the summer and the University has great facilities. She just prefers to run and likes the 5k races. She'll come to terms with the change and work something out.
  7. Great write-up and shave, Neal. Glad the slant works for you.
  8. Hopefully, she will be wise and come to terms with her physical limitations. I am sure that she will work something out so that she does not miss running so much. Glad that she is home resting.
  9. Oh Joe, how I hate it when the sun gets in my eyes, when I'm shaving.
    Sounds great anyway.

  11. Jim, fine shave! The Omega boar brush feels very nice when broken in properly.

  12. Joe I have found it works better if Maya comes up with the idea rather than Dad. :D I really have no idea where she got her stubbornness. ;)

  14. Tuesday afternoon March 12

    IMG_20190304_100605.jpg
Delta Echo refurbished Gillette Fatboy on 4 / Rapira Swedish Supersteel (1)
Simpsons CH2 Chubby Synthetic Bristles brush
    MWF/Kent in beechwood tub
    Polar Ice Booster splash

Good two pass shave on a two-day stubble. DFS with no issues. Skipped the alum. Also forgot the splash until later and didn't really miss it because The Fat has excellent skincare qualities from the lanolin.

My sense is that The Fat is better and easier to use when fully hydrated from regular every shave use, although I can't put any numbers on that. (Independent lab tests show that when fully hydrated The Fat loads 15.75% faster, has bubbles in the lather that are 19.3% smaller and has a lather Creaminess Quotient 14.63% higher than when non-hydrated... Uhm, no...) All I can really say is that it is very pleasant and easy to use as a daily soap with this set of gear. And the puck is now fully swelled up to completely fill the tub, so the moisture has percolated back completely through it.
