A few things from Maggard's And a WWB handle for the Maggard SHD knot, cactus coin Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
Nice handle, Andrew! My Maggards 26mm SHD knot arrived yesterday. It's huge! Hopefully the handle I ordered will arrive in the next day or two. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Thanks Jim! I blame the knot and thus the handle to set it in on you! Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
What goes around comes around! I see you ordered some A&E. I'm anxious to hear your thoughts on it. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
I'm pretty excited about that one! Will be using it as soon as it arrives! Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
I’m waiting on two soaps both by the same company a dr Selby tubed cream soap I bought through a Facebook group and a dr selby hard soap (pictured) which I ordered (and is on back order) after looking into the company! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just pulled the trigger on a stainless General. The previous owner polished the head to help with glide. I love my aluminum version, the only thing I would change is adding weight. Problem solved
Waiting on a variety of chopsticks. Stainless steel and a set that appear to be made of melamine. Also some dog food can lids. Can't find them in any grocery store anymore.
Nice score! I learned to use chopstick from the throw away ones in restaurants. Picked up a SS set of four, and the beige plastic ones, too. Got a fancy set of Stirling silver sticks and spoons tucked away that came too cheap from a garage sale. Taught the grandkids to use them recently. Dog food can lids - for Old Spice mug covers? Try the lids that come on prepared Betty Crocker cake frosting tubs.
Great haul! Good of you to gather them to your Den. Will they be Collected or Used? Established dates yet? I'm a big fan of the earlier Fat Boys as they seem to give smoother reduction than later models. Top photo, middle - Schick - type D? Haven't found one of those in the wild yet. Being older should it be more efficient/aggressive? Bottom photo, bottom left - Aristocrat? Nice heavy pre-adjustable! The gold wash looks in good condition. From the knurling looks like a '46-'47.
I plan to use the melamine for the lunchbox, and the SS ones for cooking. I can see them being really handy when frying small stuff and sometimes my tongs don't quite do the job. Nope, just to cover open cans, like evaporated milk. Cake frosting is the LAST thing I need, hah!
Thanks! I have no idea on how the type D shaves like. I found these on eBay. I’m looking forward to getting them to see the condition.
