Tonight's shave was with one of the first razors I acquired, and learned to hone on. It takes a fabulous edge, and I wouldn't trade it for anything, short of a smiling Saito. I had a perfect 2 pass shave, that left me BBS.

Razor- Japanese "Cherry 92". Best steel.
Brush- JR#262. Birdseye Maple/Ebony wood. WD Silvertip Badger.
Soap- TOBS Eton College
Aftershave- Arctic Blue. H.E.B. Brand.

Evening Shave: pulled another vintage Sheffield chopper from the drawer—this hefty 8/8" 'Tally Ho' razor from Frederic Fenney (restoration finished in December 2015, see here: https://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/frederick-fenney-tally-ho-8-8.48546/) has always been one of my favorites.
I've sold off 4-5 Tallys, but I think I'll keep this one.

Crowne & Crane mentholated 'Orange Frost' soap & finished with Sterlings 'Glacial Lemon Chill' aftershave balm for a complete chilly citrus shave.

If I remember correctly, you said Robert’s wife did the artwork on the scales... just awesome.

 

Thank you, Robert's wife did the artwork, she etched both sides of the scales. Robert put my emblem on the blade for me. The steel on the blade is amazing.
