This is a 11/16 Marcella made for Theo Koch's barber supply. Koch's was famous for their barber chairs.

Anyway, I did 60 laps on the Thuringian last night in preparation for the shave this AM. This was followed by horse hide and linen.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Amalfi Basil Lemon Shave Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #224 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Rocket 5/8 straight razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with PSC Caffeinated AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

That is special.

Hollow ground 6/8 Case Red Imp 133, cream was SMN bowl lathered with a Simpsons 57 in an Aesop bowl. A splash of Myrsol AB finished off another great shave from American steel.

Wester Bros Single Edge Used a Henkel Wedge blade
Just honed the blade on Sharpton Glass up to 16K.Then finished on a Thuri.
This old SE shaved great .
