Another great basic shave today. Although I started out with a dull blade , things got much much better after I changed it. If I recall correctly the old blade only had 1 shave on it but when I held it to the light you could see what looked liked small nicks in the facet. The MMOC was a gift from @John Ruschmeyer awhile back along with 3lbs of other SE razors . What a great guy John is ! I cant thank him enough for his generosity and I love and use each and every razor he sent.
I'm off to mow the lawn . No HOA to get on my back but the 5'3" lady I live with carries more power than any committee and she doesn't have to write me a letter to get her point across. Have a great day gents .

I'm sure that was a novel experience for you Charlie. If you'd like to look into the lesser experience of a two wheeled ride, Swagtron has hoverboards starting at a buck and a half. Financing available for $14/month! You could park the cars outside the garage, pull down the doors, and get bruised up with no one watching. Check with Jim @Jayaruh for one of those bubblewrap suits.

Does it have an 8-track player for the musical accompaniment?

Thanks Danny! I've been looking at every piece in the 16 pounds, 3 ounces of gear and haven't found the 3 pc Cooper I thought was included. Got plenty of other cool goodies so I'm happy. About to wrap it up with my adds so these guys can start Round Two.

Great shave Rick! It's hard to tell from the SOTD pic but that Gillette doesn't look like an RFB. The other head is a Conrad, they were sold under Conrad, Barbasol, Cooper, and a few other brands. Looks like a non-floating head.

Y'know, I must say, the scent of my KIA black leather shoe polish comes close to that of Chiseled Face's Midnight Stag.

Everything today was comfy and familiar. Haslinger, faux horsehair, and my favorite aftershave. Should have been a breeze, but somehow I managed a couple of weepers just below the chin. Other than that, it was a great shave.

I have a bottle of Blue Blazer myself that I have not gotten around to trying. I may just do that tomorrow.

I'm a fan of Wickham's too. Favorites are Irish Fern, Citrus Musk, and Club Cola. Connaught sells samples...

Every time I read a post about the generosity of our members, it really warms my heart. :love055:
This stuff does NOT go on on the other shave forums. Am I right?

Thanks Rick! I'll check into the Swagtron. It sounds like something I would like. Do they make a model that streams music? Listening to George Benson would be the cherry on top while hovering on the Swagtron.

To be honest, getting thrown out of The Golden Corral wasn't so bad. Thankfully, I had already been through the food line four times and was about to get my third platter of low fat ice cream. Since I got shorted, I'll just make up for it next time. If I don't keep up with my nourishment, the Elvis outfit tends to get a bit loose. ;)
